Saved Sent Mail Incorrectly Appears as Unread When Sent From iNotes Web Access

Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering and was addressed
in iNotes Web Access which ships with Domino 5.0.10 Server.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.0.10 MR fix list (available

SPR# YXUU4PTC7B - Fixed a problem where newly created entries in iNotes Web
Access are not correctly marked as Read.

This issue does not occur in iNotes Web Access 6.0.

Example of steps to reproduce:

1. Set your iNotes Web Access preferences so that sent mail is saved; Click on
Preferences in the upper right corner, and in the Sending area enable 'Always
Keep a Copy'.
2. Access your mail file via iNotes Web Access and send a test message.
3. Check your Sent folder and note that the message is marked unread.
4. Once you double-click the message, it shows as read. This is not the same
functionality as in Notes R5 Client, where documents you create appear as read.
